this blog is a synopsis of my last month. it may be out of order, but that's how it is since it takes me FOR-EVER to upload pics and move them around. So the main topics that we cover are: Our trip to albequerque and our favorite new mexican family, Justin's first day of soccer, and other fun pics here and there. before i show you how cute my son is i have to tell you a naughty story. I have been sick this past weekend and pretty much a vegetable. I have stayed in my room asleep or lying down and gary has played the single parent (love him so much he is so good when i'm sick...i tend to guilt and get mad and he just smiles and locks the door so the kids can't bug me...so sweet!) anyway the story of justin..... he is quoted as saying to Gary "Dad can i get sick so i can sit on my butt (yes he used that word) and watch TV all day?".......A little too close to home. i am glad that i am feeling better now. :)
This is my man on his first day of soccer!!! Gary was such a good coach. he brought a little buffalo to tie to the goal post so the kids knew which one to aim for, he had all this patience i couldn't believe. Great job dad!!!I'm pretty sure he even lead them to victory....if we kept score which we don't so I'm not so sure. :)
grandma and grandpa sent a new bedspread to justin....he was VERY excited about the package addressed to him and for how cool it was once he opened it. thank you!!!
Albequerque Old Town
Natural History museum, we LOVED the dinosaurs!
My sweet sweet niece
We wanted Dad to know we were thinking of him so we found the gas line and posed by it. :)
In Old Town we found this shop and justin didn't want to go in until i told him what kind of store it was. he was thrilled that santa was closer to coming to his house. :)
Look at these cousins all cleaned up. :)
All of us at the pool....it was FREEZING!!!!!
At the ZOO...we were a little nervous at first because we took a train ride that covered only the construction areas and the backs of ALL the buildings. But after we started walking around we saw some great stuff. the one thing i loved most was the LION!! it rocked. Justin heckled it and asked 'why won't the lion roar mom???? ROAR!!!!!!!!" It sat up and looked at us...i made us leave the area.
this is at the FRONTIER it was the coolest breakfast spot and i LOVE huevos rancheros with stewed green chili's. mmmmmm... and the orange juice....mmmmmmm. it was a very cultural experience. i loved albequerque more for it!
We got to go to the ward party. Red and Green potluck. I tasted the hottest food of my life this night....and it is where my stomach troubles started for the week. :)
This is on the plane going there. he was so excited he didn't even want to play with anything i brought he just grabbed my arm and squeeled or yellled at his cousins. he had a BlAST!
The turbulance was so bad on the way home that all the boys started yelling "awesome" or "NOT awesome!" and squeeling "we're gonna die!!" and throwing their hands in the air like they were on a roller coaster....pretty sure we put some people into heart failure.

Oh gosh! How fun!!! Sorry you got sick though! Love your updates! Glad you're feeling better!
Just look at your cute family! We drive though Albuquerque every time we drive to Utah... maybe we should stop one of these days and explore. Looks like you had TONS of fun! (But I can't believe you flew! Its only like a 10 hour drive!) :)
Looks like fun! Glad you and Justin got to go play.
After your appointment yesterday, you will now have to allow Justin some sitting on his butt and watching TV time! ;)
Glad you had a great trip. That picture of Lindsy is my favorite. Great bonding time with Gary.
