NO LONGER MR. NO NAME!!!
Pictures by Gina Baker
Carson is his name. We are excited to finally make that announcement. Okay so we've had it for about 3 months but I have been busy napping and feeding and napping and feeding...okay so that's all i feel that i do anymore. :) Maternity leave has taught me alot and we have had some interesting experiences with our new little guy.

1. Kids over the age of 6 months should sleep through the night...no exeptions!!!

2. umbilical cords turn to sticky goo when your husband puts it in the dyer with all new baby clothes

3. The appetite of a nursing mother is INSANE!!! And now it looks like my tummy is pregnant again..not really though

4. Sleep sleep sleep sleep sleep....oh i wish i could sleep!!!! i haven't been this tired in 3 years!!!!

5. daytime tv stinks

6. Gary is tired of me quoting Nate Berkus

7.I am sure I will talk to my husband again...I just keep falling asleep the minute the kids are asleep.

8. I am spoiled by family and friends they are taking such good care of me and my family! thanks!

9. Loving being a stay at home mom

10. It's easier to accomplish stuff when you have less kids. Gary told me to paint my living room before the baby was born. I felt that I would be able to move around better after my pregnant belly was gone. So we waited and it turns out that I forgot after you have a baby they need to go to a babysitter and also get fed every couple hours. It kind of threw a kink into things but I got my living areas painted and all my cupboards as well.

11. Suprised me to have the baby blues...darn hormones!!!

12. Everytime I felt like my brain began working again my kids would wake up all night long and my thoughts turned to mush and I couldn't remember my last name.

13. cradle cap looks like someone threw up on your sweet baby's scalp...we're trying to get rid of it.

14. solitaire or facebook at 3am

15. Gary needs to proof read this so I don't embarass myself with spelling or lack of coherent thought. bah!! I'm sure it will return one day :)

Thanks for reading my maternity leave is over and I am about to enter the workforce again. Wish me luck!

New Quilt for Lindsy

Grandma made this awesome quilt for my Lindsy bird. It was an eye opener for me that it costs much more to make a quilt than to buy it. But it was made with so much love I wouldn't trade it for anything. Lindsy is so happy with it and the colors are the best, purple and pink!!!

This is the back side. :)

Thank you Grandma!!!!

This is family bowling day!!! justin and Lindsy were thrilled....we were the only ones in the whole bowling alley, i wasn't even sure if it was a operational business but they took our money and let us bowl. :)

Happy pre-school graduation!!!

We wanted to get pictures of grandparents on mothers day and got half of them. We will get more next time. The kiddos really love their grandparents and pray for them each night. Thank you Grandma's and Grandpas!!! You are all great at loving my kids!

This is my wonderful husband who helps me so much. take closer look at this picture and realize this man gives me FOOT RUBS!!! I had to take a picture to brag...and he now tells me so i can remember he used to do this at one time. :)

Lindsy sure does love her dad! happy fathers day Gar!

HOw nuts are these kids? this was just a cute picture. they are playing spies and have their outfits and gear on. they creep through the backyard watching out for robbers and searching for suspicous activity. :)

Family Outtings this Spring
Look at this cute mug? She is so proud of her new unbrella...it goes everywhere with her. The hair gets messed up daily becuase this is her 4th outfit of the day. we headed to cabellas to see all the cool animals. I had to make an ikea trip becuase i bought night stands without measuring sufficiently and after one was assembled we realized it would NOT fit in my bedroom....let alone two of them, smooth move becki.

This is Gar's version of having fun. He ripped out the paper backing of the metal in the barn. "now those dumb birds won't be able to sit up here and poop on my truck!!!" that may have been paraphrased but he kept mumbling something like that.

Disney on ice was such an amazing adventure for Linds! The girls got some special minnie mouse lipgloss and....they ate it. We started smelling it before we saw it, then Annie thought there was blood on her lips. Nope! just tons and tons of waxy yummy tasting lipgloss.

Two minnie mouses.

We'rehavinababyITSaBOY

So the Westergard family is going to create a Lindsy sandwich with an older brother and now a younger brother! yay!!! Everyone in the family was guessing a girl, me included. So when we saw the extra leg on the ultrasound my jaw dropped. Even now days later the shock is still wearing off. I went through justin's newborn clothes so I could imagine my little boy, that really helped a lot, it is fun to see all the baseball and cowboy stuff that there is to dress your little dude in.
As for names my kids are brilliant with suggestions such as "Girl!" that one is from lindsy she is still pretty bitter this is a boy not a girl. Justin comes up with great suggestions like "Sierraboy", they are just adjusting their previous ideas to make it sound more manly...i don't think it's working. I am feeling great and try to keep my complaining to my husband in the evenings...he probably loves that to pieces. But the morning sickness is pretty much gone and except for falling over in a coma of sleep every night because i am so exhausted, I think I am handling this pretty okay.
We'll keep you posted with our brilliant name choices but any suggestions would be great...oh but before you do remember who my husband is and that he can't handle names that are trendy, cool, unisex, overused, underused, strange, misspelled, ethnic, old, too long, too short, or anywhere in between. :) it makes for fun conversations about our names. :)
